Retrofit Assessment, Co-ordination, Design, Installation and Evaluation are pre-requisites of our Energy conscious delivery process that ensure compliance and surety through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding, ECO4 or Sustainable Warmth mechanisms.

Urban’s Maintenance and Energy Division is providing a range of maintenance services to the City of York Council as part of a five-year contract. The works include void repairs, planned improvements and retrofit de-carbonisation works including External Wall Insulation, Air Source Heat Pumps and PV installation.

Urban covers around 3,500 of the Council’s social housing properties across the city and the contract covers home improvements and repairs, an extensive damp works plan as well as energy retrofitting programme to make the homes greener and more energy efficient for the residents.
