Extensive remediation of the former mill ponds was delivered before construction could commence on 22 new homes off Hart Street in Newsome, Huddersfield. The scheme comprises a mix of two and three-bed semi-detached affordable homes, as well as associated landscaping, access, roads, and sewer installation. The development will complete in spring 2024

The team is delivering 25 homes at Buxton Road in Chinley, which lies within the much sought after High Peaks area of Derbyshire. Set to complete in spring 2024, it will provide a mix of 21 two and three-bedroomed houses and four two-bedroom apartments.

41-unit housing development in Keighley which incorporates 2&3 bedroom homes.

Here Urban Group sourced the land and obtained planning permission for the construction of 41 units at Long Lee Lane, Keighley.

Urban partnered with the Accent Group Ltd and is currently constructing affordable homes on their behalf. With a contract value of Circa £6m, the scheme is due for completion in 2024.

Urban Developments secured Reserved Matters planning permission for 40 affordable homes on a 3.1 acre site within the village of Church Warsop. The team is delivering the development with local sub-contractors, on behalf of a regional registered housing provider. Providing traditional family homes, designed in line with the Building for Life principles, the development includes additional sustainability measures for the homes, including air source heat pumps, meaning gas-free homes, and electric vehicle car charging points.

Urban’s Construction Divisions is delivering 44 new build affordable homes at Sherwood Avenue, Mansfield, on behalf of PA Housing

The houses are a mix of 2,3 and 4 bed and will form part of the growing portfolio of homes that are offered by the Midlands based social housing provider. They currently manage more than 23,000 homes across the Midlands, London and the South East.  The overall scheme is due to complete in the summer of 2024.

The nine-storey Straits Aire student accommodation scheme at 26-34 Merrion Street in Leeds will complete in summer 2024. The 32,000 sq ft (2,898 sq m) building will provide 88 boutique en-suite studios, including four rooms designed for those with disabilities and two premium suites.

With on-site facilities including a cinema, gym, lounge, event, dining and breakout study space, as well as laundry facilities, it is expected to appeal to students seeking high specification accommodation.

Prior to demolition and subsequent construction commencing, the development division at Urban sourced and acquired the land and secured planning permission for the project.

Handover has been achieved following the successful completion of a 36-apartment scheme in Monton, Greater Manchester, on behalf of Southway Housing Trust.

The self-contained one and two-bed apartments are being marketed under the name of The Foundry, a nod to the industrial heritage of the Lansdowne Road site which used to be former metal and fabrication works. All of the completed properties will be for sale through shared ownership.
